We started Avero Pets because our dogs deserved better.

It started, like most things, with a dog who wasn't sleeping well.

Our dog Milo — a three-year-old kelpie cross who treats every thunderstorm like a personal affront — was restless, easily startled, and burning through energy in ways that left him exhausted but never quite settled. We tried a lot of things. Most of them didn't work. Some of them were expensive. A few were genuinely helpful.

That experience sent us down a rabbit hole: reading about canine enrichment, talking to trainers and behaviourists, and slowly building a picture of what actually makes a difference to a dog's daily wellbeing. The answer, it turned out, was less complicated than we expected — but harder to find good products for than it should be.

So we built Avero Pets. A small, carefully curated store for Australian dog owners who want to do right by their dogs — without the noise, the hype, or the products that promise everything and deliver nothing.

Everything in our range is something we'd use ourselves. We hope it makes a difference to your dog the way it did to ours.
